In 2017 a diagnosis of severe chemical sensitivities to preservatives found in most commercial products started Michele's entrepreneurial journey. Unable to find clean, safe alternatives, she founded Seaworthy Naturals to create a local source of 100% toxin-free products. 

She continued exploring the benefits of plant-based ingredients by infusing her products with CBD and THC. In 2020 she founded Plant Lovers and applied to be a cannabis product manufacturer in Wareham. Her mission is to create clean, effective products that enhance your day the natural way.

As a 100% woman-owned business, she is personally committed to increasing diversity in the cannabis industry through intentional hiring practices, mentoring license candidates, and developing strategic partnerships with Disadvantaged Business Enterprises and Social Equity Program-owned businesses.
